COACH ARSALAN

Arsalan Jamil was born in Rawalpindi, Pakistan and immigrated to Canada in 2000 where he played basketball for the Ryerson Rams Team for three seasons.

He joined MLSE in January 2013 and worked in the IT Department before becoming Masai Ujiri’s Executive Assistant in September 2013.

Jamil is also a Development Coach for Giants of Africa(GOA), a non-profit organization which uses “Basketball as a tool”. With GOA, Jamil has helped coach camps in Canada and multiple countries across Africa.

Arsalan joined the Raptors 905 in September 2018 as an Assistant Coach and works in various departments from player development to in-game strategy.

His brand “Goals Over Temptations” established in 2003, reflects his unwavering commitment to prioritizing the team’s objectives, always placing transparency and the best interests of others at the forefront.
